Starbucks' Christmas cups are here and there's a line-up of cheerful festive drinks
The start of November often signals the start of the festive season and there's no better reminder that Christmas is coming than the arrival of the Starbucks holiday cups.
The coffee chain's seasonal cups launched in the UK on Thursday morning and it's safe to say they're full of festive cheer.
This year, there are two designs to choose from, - 'Stargyle' and 'Stripes'. They are inspired by the "nostalgic, joyful taste of the season and Starbucks coffee heritage," says the coffee chain, and there's definitely a retro vibe.
The 'Stargyle' cup comes in the classic Starbucks green and is the closest one to a Christmas jumper, thanks to its interlinking diamonds and stars. 'Stripes' is the minimalist option. As the name suggests, it features bands of light and dark red - the go-to colour for the brand's holiday cups since their 1997 launch.
The reusable cups have had a makeover too, with a new red design and as for the drinks? The chain's Eggnog Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Toffee Nut Latte are back by popular demand, along with a brand new seasonal line-up.
There's a Christmas Brulee Latte, made with eggnog milk, a rich crème brulee sauce and fresh espresso, and a Salted Caramel Brownie Hot Chocolate, which despite its indulgent name, contains 16% less sugar than the holiday hot chocolate from 2015. Flat White fans should look out for the Cinnamon Spice version, made with cardamom, vanilla and a new cinnamon spice sugar.
Ready to get in the holiday spirit? The cups and new Christmas menu are available from 1 November. Time to get sipping.
