John Boyega wears traditional dress for 'Star Wars' premiere, Daisy Ridley a vision in royal blue
The cast of the latest instalment of the ‘Star Wars’ franchise gathered in London for the new film’s premiere last night.
Daisy Ridley and John Boyega were among the A-listers at the ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ event and both British actors dressed to impress for their moment in the spotlight at Cineworld in Leicester Square.
Ridley, 27, was a vision in a royal blue ensemble by British designer Vivienne Westwood.

The outfit, from the fashion house’s Couture collection, featured a fitted corset in blue silk velvet with a detachable train in silk tulle.
A pair of vegan Jimmy Choo heels and earrings by Tatiana Verstraeten completed the look, which was put together by her stylist Samantha McMillen.
The look comes just days after Ridley wore the dream Christmas dress at the LA premiere of the film: a red, bespoke taffeta dres by Oscar de la Renta.
Boyega, also 27, was equally well dressed.
The Peckham-born star represented his Nigerian heritage in traditional attire: a blue Agbada, a robe traditionally worn by men in West Africa, with gold detailing. A Fila, a traditional Yoruba cap, finished the look.

“Love this!!! Repping for Nigeria!” wrote another.
The pair’s co-star, Oscar Isaac, dressed in a slightly more demure look: a textured brown suit with a green shirt and navy tie.
Domhnall Gleeson was equally dapper in a double breasted navy suit jacket, matching trousers and a wool overcoat.
Kelly Marie Tran, an American actress who features in the last two ‘Star Wars’ films, showed off her sartorial prowess in a show-stopping, red dress.
