Selena Gomez brushes off body-shamers: 'I don't care about my weight'
Selena Gomez has declared "I don't care about my weight" on social media.
The actress and singer posted a powerful TikTok message about her appearance announcing: 'B***h, I am perfect the way I am."
Gomez used the platform to show that she will not let negative comments get to her because no matter what she looks like someone will always have something to say about it.

The 13 Reasons Why star posted: "So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich.
"But honestly, I don't care about my weight because people b***h about it anyway. ''You're too small,' 'you're too big,' 'that doesn't fit.' 'Meh meh meh meh.'"
The brunette beauty refuses to let body-shamers get to her and ended the video with: "B***h, I am perfect the way I am. Moral of the story? Bye."
Gomez was diagnosed with Lupus around 2013, an auto-immune condition where the body's immune system attacks healthy tissue in parts of the body.
She underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 and received a donor kidney from her friend Francia Raisa.

She made an emotional Instagram post of the pair in adjoining hospital beds with the caption: "I’m very aware some of my fans had noticed I was laying low for part of the summer and questioning why I wasn’t promoting my new music, which I was extremely proud of.
"So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health. I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you.
"Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery.
"And finally, there aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made."

Last year the Only Murders in the Building star revealed that her weight fluctuates partly because of medication she has to take for her Lupus.
Speaking to Raquelle Stevens for her podcast Giving Back Generation, Gomez said that dealing with judgment online was really difficult. “I experienced [body shaming] with my weight fluctuation for the first time,” she said. “I have lupus and deal with kidney issues and high blood pressure, so I deal with a lot of health issues, and for me, that’s when I really started noticing more of the body-image stuff.”
Selena said her weight fluctuates a lot, explaining, “It depends on even the month, to be honest, so for me, I really noticed when people started attacking me for that.” She added that being judged “got to me big-time” and “really messed me up for a bit.”
Selena has also been very open about her struggles with mental health, and told Good Morning America that stepping away from the Internet had been good for her.
But her latest post shows that she is back and determined to use social media as a force for good.
