How Santa’s home would look if he lived in British cities, according to AI
While we all know that Santa Claus spends most of his year in the North Pole creating all sorts of gifts to give to well-behaved children, have you ever thought about wha t his home would look like if he lived in the UK?
Well, if you have then it’s your lucky day as St Mowden Homes has used AI (artificial intelligence) to create depictions of what Father Christmas' home would look like if he lived in some of the UK’s biggest cities.
From a terrace house in London, to an industrial-cool feel in Manchester, and an Edwardian abode in Edinburgh, here’s how we could expect Santa’s house to be like if he lived a little closer by.
London
If Santa had a London pad, you just know it would be in somewhere like Kensington or Chelsea. The AI elves have imagined the big man in a Victorian terrace house that is fitted to the brim with traditional features like original fireplaces, picture rails, and herringbone floors.
Walls are dark green with statement wallpaper and vintage furniture. So chic, Santa!
"It’s classic but trendy with bags of personality, perfectly representing modern day London for Santa," a spokesperson for St Mowden Homes said. "Not to mention it’s the ideal spot for Santa to enjoy his mince pie and cuppa while he finalises his Christmas 2023 itinerary."
Birmingham
A Birmingham-based Father Christmas would embrace the Scandi minimalist vibes, the property company envisages.
Living in an industrial apartment, Santa’s home would have oak wood floors, neutral decor, earth tones, and fluffy soft furnishings. All of this would be topped off with views across Birmingham’s Christmas markets, of course.
Cardiff
Over in Wales, Santa would be living the cottage core life. He would live in a Victorian cottage with exposed beams, stone walls, neutral decor, and cream rugs, imagines the AI.
His living room would have crafts and artwork from the local community, alongside a rugby poster, and he’d be watching Gavin and Stacey on the telly with a cuppa.
Manchester
A Mancunian Santa is all about the high rise life. Think: stunning views across the city, with a modern apartment featuring exposed brick walls, tall ceilings, and black trim windows.
His apartment would be complete with an Oasis poster, with a Manchester United match on the telly (we always knew his red suit was an indication of football preference!).
Edinburgh
With its wintery weather, Edinburgh probably feels the most like home for Mr Claus, which is why he’s chosen an Edwardian house as his festive hideaway.
The home features a living room with wooden flooring, antique furniture and vintage artwork. It’s lit with ambient lighting, creating a cosy winter vibe. He’s also fond of an outfit change in Scotland, swapping his classic red suit for a tartan number instead.
