Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha has called an interview with the Duchess’ friends “bullsh*t.”

The five anonymous pals spoke to a magazine in a bid to “speak the truth” about the Duchess of Sussex, dismissing recent criticism of her and claiming that she has “no relationship” with her half siblings.

One longtime friend also claimed that Meghan sent a letter to her estranged father Thomas Markle after the royal wedding asking him to stop ‘victimising’ her in public.

Mr Markle apparently responded with a long note asking for a media photo opportunity.

The friend told PEOPLE that Meghan’s father has ‘never called and never texted’ his daughter, despite him claiming the opposite.

Samantha, 54, criticised the interview in a series of tweets saying: “this article is total bullsh*t there are plenty of text messages and receipts to prove otherwise. Stop the PR crap. [sic]”

She appeared to refer to Meghan as a “narcissist” in another tweet, as well as suggesting she’s a liar with a meme that said: “She has a disease. It’s called lie-abetes.”

“When a narcissist has lost control over you, they try to control how others see you.”

Samantha’s latest outburst on social media comes after she revealed plans for a second edition of her book ‘In the Shadows of The Duchess,’ coming out in June.

The first part is set to coincide with the arrival of Meghan and Harry’s baby in April.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s last public engagement was in Bristol last Friday.

On Thursday 7 February, the couple will attend the Endeavour Fund Awards, which celebrates the achievements of service personnel who were injured or fell ill in service and have gone on to use sport and adventurous challenge as part of their recovery and rehabilitation.
