Salma Hayek’s make-up free photo a hit with fans: ‘Refreshing not to see Photoshopped perfection’
While many of us shrink in horror when we clap sight of our make-up free faces via Zoom, Salma Hayek is more than happy to put her natural beauty front and centre.
Proving once again that she’s hardly aged a day in decades, the 53-year-old actor shared a fresh-faced selfie taken in the pool on Instagram last night.
“Agua,” she captioned the snapshot of her in a magenta swimsuit emerging from a pool, adding the hashtag #nomakeup as proof she’d forgone the foundation.
Fans couldn’t get enough of her au natural pool post with the update quickly clocking up over 700K likes and thousands of comments praising her.
“Absolutely beautiful,” one fan wrote, while another commented simply: “Flawless”.
“I love that you post REAL natural photos, refreshing to not see photoshopped perfection. Thank you,” yet another user added.

It isn’t the first time Hayek has offered proof she seems to be ageing backwards, sharing another bare-faced selfie with her 14.6 million Instagram followers last month.
This time the Oscar-nominated actor showcased her timeless complexion while looking casual in a soft purple T-shirt with the word ‘grateful’ emblazoned across the front.
The star has previously opened up about her beauty regime, revealing make-up free days are her best days.
“My favorite [sic] days are the days that you're not wearing makeup, and you're not looking in the mirror because you're not thinking about how you look,” she said in People's Beautiful Issue.
“You’re just present, and you’re just doing your thing.
“And this is the best thing about not wearing makeup, when you’re not thinking, ‘How do I look without makeup? Oh, I forgot to put makeup.’ When you’re just living life, and this is not your priority.”

Hayek also recently shared the fact she turns to acupuncture to boost her “health and wellbeing”.
In October, the actress celebrated reaching 12 million followers on Instagram by posting a picture of her back covered in a dozen of the needles.
Last year, the actor almost broke the Internet after celebrating her birthday by sharing her bikini body with the world.
“Yes, tomorrow I turn 53. So!?” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
It isn’t the first time the Mexican star has taken to social media to show off her incredible figure.
The actor also cut a fierce figure on the ’gram in a cut-out leopard print swimsuit.
That followed an amazing picture of herself in a black plunging swimming costume with rope detail, shared to her Instagram account.
