The best of Royal Ascot style: From the Duchess of Cambridge to Amanda Holden
Royal Ascot 2017 has kicked off with the royals already making their first appearance.
With the new Village Enclosure set to attract the top of British society (a champagne bar, yes please), some racegoers may be left with a last-minute panic on what to wear.
The dress code has been relaxed for 2017 with jumpsuits now allowed inside the Royal Enclosure: the place where you will find the Queen.
However, there are still plenty of rules for both men and women looking to attend. Morning suits must be worn in the Royal Enclosure with women in skirts that are no shorter than just above the knee.
Formal dress is still required for the other enclosures and there is a complete ban on any midriff-baring, sheer dresses and strappy tops.
If you’re a little stuck with what to wear, why not take inspiration from the royal faces and celebrities that have attended over the years?
From the Duchess of Cambridge to Amanda Holden, you’re guaranteed to get some style inspiration.
