Vogue appears to announce Rihanna's married and had her baby: 'Wait, WHAT'

Fans waiting for Rihanna's birth announcement have been left confused by a post shared by Vogue, which seems to suggest the singer has welcomed her baby.

The pregnant singer was thought to be mere days away from becoming a mum, after announcing her pregnancy back in February, but some fans are now wondering if she's already seen the patter of tiny feet.

Sharing an image taken from A$AP Rocky's latest music video, in which the couple appear to get married (more on that later), the publication's accompanying caption left fans speculating that the Diamonds singer had given birth.

"You might think @badgalriri and @asaprocky would be enjoying some downtime, wallowing in the bliss of welcoming their bundle of joy," the caption read.

"But Riri and A$AP aren’t like most other couples."

The caption went on to discuss the fact that the star had been immortalised via a virtual statue commissioned by the Met Gala after she was unable to attend Monday's event due to being heavily pregnant with her and boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s first child.

But the start of the caption left some Instagram users wondering if the singer skipped the event due to the fact she had already given birth.

"Vogue not y’all announcing this woman gave birth?! Don’t play!!" one fan posed.

"Wait WHAT?!!" another asked.

"I’m sorry are y’all saying she had the baby!!!!????," yet another fan wrote.

"did y’all just announce they had the baby? is this breaking news?" a fourth wondered.

"SHE GAVE BIRTH??? Don’t play with me Vogue," another confused fan commented.

The couple are yet to confirm either way if they have become new parents, but a click through to the article linked to the post suggests that the publication are just as eager for news of the birth as everyone else.

Speculation about whether or not Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have welcomed their new arrival isn't the only question fans have been questioning this week.

The surprise drop of the rapper's new video D.M.B has also left many wondering if the couple have also in fact got married.

According to the press release: “The video is an ode to the classic love story, with Rocky and Rihanna depicting true ride-or-die characters in a devoted relationship despite their circumstances.”

Indeed, we see the couple appear together in many scenes including sharing drinks on a fire escape, in a hair salon and Rihanna running into the rapper's arms when he gets out of prison, but towards the end Rihanna and Rocky also portray a wedding scene.

Of course, it being RiRi it isn't your average wedding. For a start the proposal isn't conventional, with A$AP Rocky appearing to ask his beau to be his wife via the 'Marry Me?' gold grills on his teeth. Her answer is seemingly confirmed with her own 'I do' teeth grills.

Rihanna then appears wearing a fiery red gown and a matching veil, as she and her man walk hand-in-hand down a hallway while being showered with rose petals.

Following the video release fans have been left wondering if the couple are actually married in real life? Or whether this all in the name of a viral music video?

"Did Asap rocky and rihanna just announce that they are secretly already married?" one user wrote.

“Is asap video telling us that he married Rihanna or?????” another asked.

While a third user tweeted: “I can’t even believe that Rihanna secretly got married to ASAP Rocky and we didn’t know until today".

Unsurprisingly he couple has yet to confirm whether they are in fact wed or if the video was a hint at some potential upcoming nuptials in the near future.
