Rihanna praised for breastfeeding photos showcasing ‘game changer’ maternity bra
Rihanna has been applauded by fans for sharing a trio of breastfeeding photos.
The singer, 35, shares son Rza, one, with rapper A$AP Rocky and the family are set to welcome another new arrival after Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
As well as embracing motherhood, the star has continued to work on her own business portfolio, which includes beauty brand Fenty and lingerie brand Savage x Fenty.
Combining her work and family life, the new mum has shared photos of her feeding Rza while wearing a maternity bra from her own brand.
In the images, posted to Savage x Fenty’s Instagram account, the singer sits on a sofa as she cradles her little one in her lap as he feeds.
"Not ur mama's maternity bras...designed by @badgalriri, approved by baby RZA," the accompanying caption reads.
Unsurprisingly, both the image and the new maternity wear proved to be a huge hit with fans, with many thanking the singer for introducing a stylish nursing bra.
"I mean now this is another game changer," one user wrote
"I’m so glad I’m waiting to have children," another added. "By the time I’m pregnant Rihanna will have made all the accessories for me and my baby to be dope as hell."
"I remember in 2020 when I was breastfeeding I was like damn Riri needs to sell us fashionable maternity bras. Now I need another baby," another user joked.
Earlier this year Rihanna reflected about motherhood and her experiences of welcoming her first child into the world.
In an interview for the fashion bible's March 2023 issue, the nine-time Grammy award winner said that while her birth "was beautiful" and that she felt "blessed" by the experience, those initial days as a family of three were hard to get her head around.
"Essentially, from one person I became two," the Fenty founder told the publication. "You walk into the hospital as a couple and leave as a family of three. It’s nuts."

Rihanna went on to describe those heady first few days of motherhood as "insane", adding that "you don't sleep. At all. Not even if you wanted to."
"We came home, cold turkey, had no one," she added. "It was just us as parents and our baby. Man, you're a zombie for the most part."
