Reese Witherspoon and Oprah Winfrey respond to Vanity Fair's 'Photoshop fails'
Reese Witherspoon has laughed off an apparent ‘photoshop fail’ which seemed to give her a third leg on the cover of Vanity Fair.
Eagle-eyed fans took to social media to point out the apparent gaffe on the cover of the famous Hollywood edition.
“I’m tryna figure out how many legs reese witherspoon’s got in here, it’s been bothering me for the last five minutes,” one user wrote.

In the cover image, fans were quick to point out that not only does the ‘Big Little Lies’ star have her legs crossed at the side of her, but she also appears to have one leg at the back.
And that wasn’t the only unusual body anomaly. Another photo from the same shoot appears to reveal Oprah Winfrey as having a third hand.

In the image, Oprah is seen holding Reese by the waist as the pair laugh with actor Tom Hanks.
But as well as having a hand around her waist, chat show queen also has two hands in front of her, making three. Odd!
In typical Reese style, the actress took it all in her stride taking to Twitter to joke: “Well…I guess everybody knows now…I have 3 legs. I hope you can still accept me for who I am. (and I will never apologize for snuggling @Oprah… if you get the opportunity, I highly recommend it;)”

I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand❤️
— Oprah Winfrey (@Oprah) January 25, 2018
Oprah responded by saying: “I accept your 3d leg. As I know you accept my 3d hand.”
Fans also went online to joke about the error: “oprah has three hands & reese has three legs, and we are here for accepting them for who they are!! 2018 is all about LOVING OUR BODIES!!” one user wrote.
Addressing the apparent faux-pas, Vanity Fair tweeted: “While we would have loved the exclusive on @RWitherspoon’s three legs, unfortunately it’s just the lining of her dress.”
Before adding: “As for @Oprah, how can we expect her to juggle it all with just two hands? (We are correcting this error online.)”

The iconic Hollywood issue features 12 stars and one journalist, focusing in part on the Time’s Up movement to end sexual harassment in Hollywood.
Reese, Oprah and Tom Hanks are joined by British actress Claire Foy, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford.
The issue was also supposed to feature James Franco, but after allegations emerged against the actor, (which he denies) he was removed from the cover.
A Vanity Fair spokesperson said: “We made a decision not to include James Franco on the Hollywood cover once we learned of the misconduct allegations against him.”
