Reese Witherspoon and Her Daughter Look Like Twins, and People Love It

Reese Witherspoon and her look-alike 17-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe are often featured on each other’s Instagram accounts. Many of the mother-daughter duo’s followers can’t get enough of their similarities — and often point them out in the comments.

Witherspoon shared a sweet snap alongside her daughter on the Fourth of July, with the pair smiling while wearing patriotic apparel.

“Happy 4th y’all! #GoldenHour @avaphillippe,” she captioned the selfie. The post was flooded with more than a half million likes and thousands of comments.

“Your daughter is beautiful, just like you. You’re twins!” one user commented. “Looks more like sisters than mother and daughter,” another added, pointing out Reese’s youthfulness.

Witherspoon shared an image smiling alongside Ava last month as well — at the launch of her Draper James capsule collection with Net-a-Porter.

The pair wore two of Witherspoon’s designs from the collection to celebrate the launch. Many pointed out that Ava bears a striking resemblance to her father, Ryan Phillippe, in the comments for the photo.
A month earlier, Ava posted a picture of the pair in which they also smiled in bright dresses.

The young woman is clearly proud of her mother’s professional career. She shared another shot with her mother, praising her for her successful stint on the popular HBO miniseries Big Little Lies, in February.

“So proud of my awesome mama and her passion for this project. It is so nice to see these wonderful, talented women in roles just as dynamic as they are. #biglittlelies,” she captioned the photo.

Ava also has two siblings, Tennessee Toth and Deacon Phillippe, who are also often pictured on Witherspoon’s account.

Witherspoon described being a mother to her children as “one of the biggest joys” of her life.
