Whoever knew celeb mums Kristen Bell and Rachel Bilson are such good friends? TBH, we reckon they deserve a spot in every parent’s dream squad.

The pair aren’t just the actresses who played Princess Anna and Summer Roberts, they’re also mums with a fantastically down-to-earth take on parenthood. They would definitely give any NCT group a boost.

The duo, who’ve known each for over 15 years, opened up to Buzzfeed about how their relationship’s changed since entering motherhood (“We talked a lot about poop and vomit before we became moms, but now we talk a lot MORE about it,” said Bell) and confessed they think wipe warmers are useless.

On a more serious note, they also revealed how their priorities have shifted in the last couple of years, admitting that having children makes you rethink things.

“I used to get the majority of, or a big chunk of, my self esteem from my work and now I get about 99 per cent of my self esteem from taking care of my kids,” Bell said. “I mean, I love working, but it’s become much more of a creative outlet. It’s not my whole life, which I know is a luxury, and I’m very grateful for.”

Bilson agrees that her priories have shifted. “Sleep’s a priority. It doesn’t exist, but it’s a priority. I actually haven’t worked since I had my daughter, for me career is definitely on the back burner. It just has to be worth it to spend time away from her. It’s her world, I’m just living in it is the best I can say.”

Bilson’s daughter Briar Rose is now a year old, while Kristen has two girls, baby Delta and two-year-old Lincoln. As both are fairly new to parenthood, they’re still finding their feet.

While Bell’s returned to work and thinks that “working builds a really strong example for your kid”, Bilson is currently enjoying time at home with her daughter and refuses to let working mums make her feel guilty. “Whatever your situation is, support each other,” she urged.

And when they do get negative comments about their parenting, they have a brilliant comeback.

“If someone is taking the time to make a negative comment, they don’t have a enough happy things in their life, so that deserves a little sympathy,” said Bell.

“So I guess I would say to those people: Come away from the dark side, because people on this side have a lot of friends and lots of sex, and it’s fun, and it’s more fun than just being negative to people on the internet.”

Bravo.
