Newlywed Priyanka Chopra responds to article labelling her a 'global scam artist'

Priyanka Chopra had responded to an article calling her a ‘global scam artist’ in the wake of her marriage to Nick Jonas.
The article accuses newlywed Priyanka, 36, who married Nick Jonas, 26, earlier this week in a three-day event at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, of ‘scamming’ her husband into marriage.
The article, published on The Cut, a fashion e-zine produced by New York Magazine, has since been removed after a outcry from readers.

The article suggested Priyanka and her team targeted Nick for his success, claiming: “Nicholas Jonas married into a fraudulent relationship against his will.”
It continued: “All Nick wanted was a possible fling with Hollywood’s latest It Woman, but instead he wound up staring straight at a life sentence with a global scam artist.”

Today, Priyanka responded with a dignified response. She told New Delhi-based publication Hindustan Times: “I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kind of random things can’t disturb it.”
Both Priyanka’s new brother-in-law, Joe Jonas, and his fiancée Sophie Turner, have responded to the article on Twitter.
