Princess Margaret's most stylish moments
Princess Margaret, Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister, was arguably one of the most stylish royals of all time.
The brunette, who died after a series of strokes in 2002, was known globally for her sartorial prowess (and love of sunglasses) and clearly enjoyed experimenting with cuts, fabrics and fashions. Fabulous, fifties frocks in the 50s, complete with cinched-in waists and full skirts, filled Margaret’s wardrobe as her sister took to the throne. She wasn’t afraid to try the power shoulders trend that dominated the 80s and a strapless dress was never too daring for her.
Today, on what would’ve been Margaret’s 89th birthday, we look back at the royal’s style.
