Princess Eugenie makes romantic tribute to fiancé Jack Brooksbank with her hat
Fans are readily awaiting the second royal wedding of the year, as Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are set to tie the knot on October 12 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
And if the 28-year-old’s latest look is anything to go by, she’s also eagerly anticipating the upcoming ceremony.
For the Queen‘s Garden Party held at Buckingham Palace, the princess donned a statement hat emblazoned with the word ‘love’ across the mesh-veiled rim in tribute to her fiancé.
The £320 navy-hued accessory by Misa Harada was undoubtedly the perfect choice for her bell-sleeve dress and co-ordinating heels.
Famed for her love of eccentric headgear, it’s not the first time the princess has graced the headlines courtesy of her impressive hat collection.
At the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 2011 wedding, sisters Beatrice and Eugenie were mocked for their quirky Philip Treacy headpieces. To match her vibrant co-ord, Eugenie donned a feathered hat whilst Beatrice chose a taupe ensemble to co-ordinate with her Valentino dress.
After realising that their meme-worthy outfits were social media bait, the sisters have since made an effort to tone down their hat collection in recent years. For Harry and Meghan’s nuptials for instance, Eugenie chose a subtle pillbox hat whilst Beatrice opted for an Insta-worthy headband.
But what will the sisters wear on the big day?
Buckingham Palace announced the soon-to-be newlyweds’s engagement via Instagram on 22 January with a sweet snap of the pair holding hands.
