Princess Eugenie shares new picture with baby August on country walk
She may be royalty – but Princess Eugenie has proven she's just like the rest of us, wearing leggings and trainers for a country walk over the weekend.
The Queen's granddaughter, 31, beamed as she posed for a sweet photo with baby son August.
In the image, shared to Instagram, the new mother could be seen standing next to a mound of daffodils with her little boy strapped to her in an Artipoppe Yin Yang baby carrier, which costs £677.
She shared the picture as part of a carousel – which included snaps of elephants, a lake and flowers – to celebrate Environment Day 2021.
The princess wrote: "To mark this day I wanted to share some photos over the years (and more recent ones) that remind me how amazing our environment is and how we must always protect it."
Her post was well-received by royals fans who left more than 59,000 'likes'.
One person commented "so normal, so lovely", while another posted "beautiful photos".
It is unclear exactly where the new baby pictures were taken, but she and husband Jack Brooksbank are currently living with their firstborn at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to reside.
Since August was born in February, the new parents – who married at Windsor Castle in 2018 – have shared only a handful of images of the youngster, mostly with his face concealed.
Last month, Eugenie's older sister Princess Beatrice announced she was expecting her first child with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
While congratulating the couple, who married last year, she shared two never-before-seen images of the newlyweds.
These included a snap from their wedding day, as well as a relaxed waterfall selfie in hiking gear.
The princess wrote: "It's World Bee Day!! A day to celebrate nature's most badass little friend with their black and yellow stripes..
"But our furry little friends have to share today with my big sis Bea who's got a little one on the way.
"Beabea and Edo huge congratulations on your news – can't wait to meet the little one."
Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York's eldest daughter is expecting in autumn, according to Buckingham Palace.
