Trio of new Princess Charlotte photos released to celebrate fourth birthday
Princess Charlotte looks all grown-up in a trio of photos released to celebrate her fourth birthday on May 2.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, once again went behind the lens to capture three shots of her daughter, taken in April at Kensington Palace and at their Norfolk home Anmer Hall.
The last official photos taken of Charlotte were for the Cambridges’ Christmas card and the little princess looks like she’s grown even taller since then.
Charlotte smiles at the camera as she confidently sits on a fence within the grounds of her parents’ Norfolk abode.
She wears a grey button-up cardigan over a blue, purple and cream tartan skirt. It looks to be the same style as the Amaia Kids ‘Yarrow’ one she wore when the Cambridges had a family day out with the Tindalls, at the Burnham horse trials in Norfolk during the Easter holidays.

In another shot, taken in the same sitting, Charlotte grins as she holds out a daffodil for her mum.
While she always wore a bow in her hair as a toddler, Charlotte’s hair is swept back in a neat ponytail as she plays outside.
In the third image taken within the grounds of their London residence Kensington Palace, the birthday girl poses for mum Kate, looking straight at the camera, with her hands on her knees.
The Cambridges’ middle child has always seem more confident in public than her big brother George, five. She’s shown signs early on that she’s perfected her royal wave, as she made her way into the Lindo Wing with George and father William last April to meet her new baby brother Louis.
Kate has swapped Charlotte’s country casual attire for one of the youngster’s signature floral blue smock dresses with a peter pan collar - a £70 Betsy dress at Trotters.
She wears it with a pair of £26 laceless navy blue pumps (also from Trotters) and a matching bow in her locks.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born on May 2, 2015 at 08:34am at the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
She currently attends Willcocks Nursery School and is due to start school in September.
