Introducing Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: Princess Beatrice's property developer boyfriend
Princess Beatrice, 31, has been dating her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi for at least a year now, leading many fans to believe another royal wedding could be on the cards.
The pair were pictured together for the first time after Eugenie’s October 2018 wedding, but made their public debut as a couple at a National Portrait Gallery gala in March 2019, which the Duchess of Cambridge also attended.
Following this, they jointly attended Lady Gabriella Windsor’s wedding to Thomas Kingston at Windsor Castle in May 2019 and Ellie Goulding’s star-studded York Minster wedding at the end of August 2019.

Exactly how long they’ve been dating isn’t known, but reports of the couple first surfaced in October 2018.
They’ve reportedly lived together at St. James’ Palace for some time.
Who is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi?
Mopelli Mozzi, 36, is a property developer and the son of British alpine skier Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi and Nikki Shale.
The Count, now aged 67, represented Great Britain in three events at the 1972 Winter Olympics.
Mopelli Mozzi’s parents separated when he was young and his mother re-married Conservative politician Christopher Shale, who died aged 56 at Glastonbury festival in 2011.

Beatrice attended the funeral, as she’s known the family for years. Fergie is godmother to Alby, Mopelli Mozzi’s half-brother.
According to Tatler, Mopelli Mozzi is believed to have some aristocratic roots of his own. Members of the Italian nobility are amongst his ancestors.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s son and former fiancée
Mopelli Mozzi was previously engaged to Chinese-American architect Dara Huang and the pair share a toddler son, Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf.
Mopelli Mozzi and Huang parted ways last year, before he began dating Beatrice.
Relations between the former couple are said to be amicable: “I take him to school a couple of mornings a week and finish in time to put him in bed three or four evenings,” Mapelli Mozzi explains.
What does Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi do?
Edo, as Mopelli Mozzi is known to his friends, was educated at Radley College and Edinburgh University. He works as the CEO of Banda Property, which he founded in 2007.
“The word Banda means house in Swahili,” he told the Telegraph.
“My father has a small place in Lamu in Kenya and I drew up the business plan while I was staying there.”
Mopelli Mozzi, much like the members of the Royal Family, is also a philanthropist: he co-founded the charity Cricket Builds Hope, an organisation that teaches cricket in Rwanda.
Judging by his Instagram, @edomapellimozzi, he’s hugely interested in architecture and art.

Beatrice’s previous relationship
Mopelli Mozzi is believed to be Beatrice’s first serious relationship since ending things with former boyfriend, Dave Clark, in 2016.
Beatrice and Clark dated for 10 years and were reportedly introduced by Prince William at a birthday party hosted by Pierce Brosnan’s son, Sean.
The break-up was said to be “amicable and mutual.”
Clark married his partner of two years, advertising executive Lynn Anderson, in Puglia, Italy, in July 2018. The A-list packed guest list included actor Ashton Kutcher and model Sara Sampaio.
