Prince Harry takes commercial flights to and from Japan for Rugby World Cup
Prince Harry ‘took a commercial flight home’ from the Rugby World Cup final in Japan.
According to sources, the royal, 35, flew premium economy on both his out- and in-bound journeys between London Heathrow and Tokyo Haneda airports.
The prince was spotted by Irish drag artist Victoria Secret, who shared the sighting on Twitter, calling Harry a “beaut”.
Secret also shared a picture of Prince Harry on the plane in a now-deleted Instagram Story.

Passengers are also treated to sparkling wine and Business Class desserts and drinks.

Harry’s decision to take a commercial flight follows a row earlier this year over the royal’s decision to take a number of private jet journeys earlier this year – including back and forth to a Google Camp event in Sicily in July, and a further four separate flights for his family’s summer holidays in Nice and Ibiza.
This is despite claims Harry made, during the launch of his new eco-tourism initiative in Amsterdam in September, that he travels on commercial flights “99 per cent of the time".
“Occasionally, there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure that my family are safe, it's genuinely as simple as that,” he said during a question and answer session at the launch.
“As I said in my speech - it is about balance. If I have to do that - and it's not a decision I would want to take - I would ensure, as I have done previously and I will continue to make sure I do, is balance. I have always offset my CO2.”

The Duke has travelled on commercial flights several times this year. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex took scheduled flights for a joint official visit to Morocco in February 2019, while Prince Harry was spotted on a British Airways flight travelling from Rome to London to attend the the wedding of wife Meghan’s friend, Misha NoNoo.
He also went to the aforementioned Amsterdam launch on a scheduled flight in September 2019, and the Duke and Duchess took British Airways flights to and from South Africa for their 10-day tour last month.
