Prince Harry and Meghan Markle give £7000 wedding present to Idris Elba and new wife Sabrina Dhowre
With a royal baby due any day now, they had a very good reason for not attending – but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sure made up for their absence at Idris Elba’s wedding with a pricey gift.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave the actor, 46, and his new wife Sabrina Dhowre, 30, an impressive piece of artwork worth £7,000.
It was revealed yesterday that the couple had got married earlier this week during three days of lavish celebrations in Marrakesh, Morocco.
According to the Mail On Sunday, the newlyweds had been sent a piece by the Connor Brothers as a wedding present from their royal friends.

The stunning picture – by the British artists behind the trendy pseudonym, James Golding and Mike Snelle – is of a 1950s-style book cover of a glamorous, blonde woman.
Perhaps fittingly for the successful Luther star and rumoured future Bond lead, it is emblazoned with the words: “Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”
Last year, the Connor Brothers shared an image of the same artwork on their Instagram.
They revealed that the quote was from children’s author Dr Seuss.

When they first arrived on the art scene, the duo claimed to be Missouri-born twins who had been raised in an extremist Christian cult.
Their canvases humorously adapt famous book covers, with authors from Shakespeare to Hunter S. Thompson getting their clever satirical treatment.
Interestingly, since their backstory was revealed to be false they have become hugely successful – and can now count royalty among their fans.
Harry and Meghan are believed to be at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor awaiting the arrival of their firstborn.
