Prince Harry caught nodding his head to Clean Bandit at Commonwealth Day service

The Duke of Sussex couldn’t resist bopping along to Clean Bandit’s performance at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday afternoon.

Harry, 34, grinned as he was caught by the cameras nodding his head to the electronic music band as they played their hit single ‘Symphony’ from the Nave.

His pregnant wife Meghan, 37, smiled as she realised what he was up to, as they joined senior members of the Royal Family at the annual service – including the Queen, the Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

As the royals departed from Westminster Abbey, they spoke to each of the performers from the service, which also included Alfie Boe and didgeridoo player William Barton.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the modern Commonwealth – a global network of 53 countries and almost 2.4 billion people, a third of the world’s population.

Meghan wore a cream chain print dress by Victoria Beckham for the event, while sister-in-law Kate donned a repeat red Catherine Walker coat.

Earlier on Monday, Harry and Meghan attended a Commonwealth Day youth event at Canada House, where they met youngsters from various sectors. The couple got involved in making maple taffy, a sweet treat which is made by syrup being cooled on snow.

The duchess wore an apt green coat by Canadian-born, London-based fashion designer Erdem for the engagement. She is expected to give birth at the end of April and is yet to announce when her last duties will be before she heads off on maternity leave.

Harry will attend a Veterans’ Mental Health Conference at King’s College London on Thursday 14 March.
