Prime drink: What you need to know about KSI and Logan Paul's £2 caffeinated beverage
People are standing in long queues outside Aldi stores around the country in order to get their hands on bottles of Prime since the drink went viral on social media earlier this year.
On Tuesday morning, hundreds of people waited before dawn at the nationwide supermarket chain so they could get their hands on fresh stock of the £1.99 beverage as soon as doors opened.
The caffeinated energy drink was launched in the UK in January 2022 by YouTube influencers KSI and Logan Paul.
It is sold in six flavours, including a limited edition Orange and Mango, as well as Meta Moon, Tropical Punch, Blue Raspberry, Lemon and Lime, and Ice Pop.
The Prime drink, which is sugar-free and vegan, contains antioxidants, electrolytes and B vitamins.
When it was first unveiled, it was only sold at Asda – but it is now also available at Sainsbury's and Aldi.

The latter has currently made it part of their 'Specialbuy' promotion, with Aldi telling customers: "The drink will be a Specialbuy in stores nationwide – and as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone."
It can also be found on Amazon for £8.99 per bottle, while an off-licence in Wakefield, West Yorkshire sparked much discussion on TikTok for selling it for £25 a pop.
One of the shoppers able to finally buy the drink in Manchester, after 12 failed attempts, was Pam Ryan, 59, who was "delighted" to be able to give them to her grandchildren Ebonie, 18, Thea, 12, and Harry, 10.
She said: "I went in December when they had it and the queues were massive so unfortunately we didn't get any. But today we've been lucky and have been able to get one of each flavour."

Meanwhile, Kaden Lucas, an 18-year-old college student, woke up at 4.40am in order to get nine bottles from an Asda store in West Surrey.
He explained: "I queued with my mate and got there about an hour and a half before it opened. We were the first in the queue so the first to go straight in and there was about 20 people behind us.
"There's been many times where I've woken up early to get to Asda when it opens at 6am and they've not restocked it."
