As Primark launches vegan skincare range, shop 5 of the best cruelty-free beauty buys
Calling all vegan beauty lovers: Primark has announced a new range of vegan and cruelty-free skincare.
The new range is part of the ‘PS...” collection and is the first to be adorned with The Vegan Society’s prestigious Sunflower trademark.
PS...Naturals range consists of five skincare products that are made up of ingredients that are at least 90% of natural origin.
Prices start from just £1.50 and go up to £3.
Products in the range include a gentle face wash, a daily moisturiser, a face wash, and an overnight sleep mask, all made with organic coconut water and Australian Kakadu plum.
Also in the range are biodegradable face wipes that contain green tea and chamomile-extract to give beauty lovers an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional face wipes.
There are also six accessories, including a body sponge, an exfoliating mitt, wooden body brush, a three pack of exfoliating discs, a back exfoliator and a wooden nail brush.
Both the body brush and nail brush are made with FSC certified wood and have been sourced from sustainably managed forests.
All the products have been registered with The Vegan Society, which is the most trusted standard for vegan customers and the Leaping Bunny, an accreditation that proves the products are free from animal testing.
A spokesperson from Primark said: “We are proud to introduce PS...Naturals, our brand new range of affordable vegan skincare products proudly displaying The Vegan Society’s iconic Sunflower trademark. Having confidence in the cosmetics you choose is an important part of looking and feeling good, whatever your age, style or budget.
“It’s the reason our customers choose Primark. Many of our customers are looking for products made with more natural ingredients to match their lifestyles. We’re excited to provide even more choice for people looking for more affordable cosmetics on the high street that not only perform well but are vegan too.”
While vegan skincare has been notoriously expensive in the past, Primark has made it vegan-friendly and cruelty-free skincare accessible for all.

The new range comes after the budget high street store introduced its first range of environmentally-friendly glitter in April earlier this year and its range of pyjamas, jeans and homeware made with sustainable cotton.
