Polly accuses MAFS viewers of 'not being nice people' following own 'bullying' backlash
Married At First Sight star Polly Sellman has taken to Instagram to break her silence after she was accused of ‘bullying behaviour’ by fans. The star took to Instagram to call them ‘the real bullies’ after she was slammed for her behaviour towards Hannah during the retreat.
The scenes in which the girls were accused of ‘ganging up’ on intruder bride Hannah had received over 70 complaints to Ofcom, and endless tweets targeted at Polly online. The star then took to social media to respond, accusing fans of not being “nice people” and leaving “disgusting” comments on the cast members socials.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Polly, who is married to Adam on the show penned: “Guys can I just say all the comments on posts to me and other cast members are disgusting and so consistent I think you’ll find the script has reversed and you’re all not nice people, which is weird because you don’t like us but comment on our stuff.

“Yes we made comments to others when we were in there but it was addressed, apologised and moved on from because it was MONTHS AGO.”
The 28-year-old continued: “The comments and messages we get are relentless and they seem to be from the same people over and over again. I think that’s what you’d call a bully. This needs to stop, it’s a f*****g TV show man. It’s not that deep. You’d moan if it was boring and you’re moaning because there’s drama… we can’t win!”
The drama continued on the retreat, when Polly said she would ‘switch’ to Hannah’s wife Stephen if she had the chance, claiming he’s better at showing emotion and PDA than her husband Adam. Of course, the revelation didn’t go down well with Adam, leading to an explosive argument.
Hannah and Stephen’s marriage had broken down way before the retreat, causing them to decide to leave the process at the commitment ceremony shortly after. It was then revealed that Hannah and Orson, who was married to Richelle, had shared a kiss while away. In an extremely explosive commitment ceremony, Richelle and Orson also decided to leave the process.
Despite Hannah and Orson’s kiss, rumours have been spreading that Hannah and Ryan, who shockingly quit the experiment with his wife Sionainn this week are now dating. It’s been claimed that the two will be walking into the reunion hand in hands, but fans of the E4 show will have to wait and see what other drama is set to unfold as the series draws to a close!
