MAFS UK star reveals she's 'a practising witch' who performs 'spells' in past TV appearance
The brides and grooms on this year’s Married At First Sight UK have revealed a lot about themselves to their partners, but one newlywed has kept something to herself that she revealed on a previous dating show she appeared on. It turns out that Sacha, who is married to Ross on MAFS, appeared on Beauty and the Geek, where she revealed she was a witch. She introduced herself by saying: “Hi, I’m Sacha and I’m a Wiccan witch. I’m 27, I’m from Birmingham and I am a Wiccan. I am classed as a witch, I do spells, rituals and I work with the elements to manifest what I want.”
She continued: “I am a terrible girlfriend, I am a nightmare, in a relationship I always wear the trousers,” which are probably things Ross would have liked to have known about before he agreed to marry her on this series of MAFS.
Sacha appeared on Beauty and the Geek in 2022, and in an interview on the podcast Premier Gospel this week, she confirmed she is no longer a practising witch and is now a Christian. She also explained how she originally became Wiccan, saying: “My ex cheated on me, which is actually when I found Wicca. I do something called the Women’s Workshop, where we do free beauty treatment for the homeless. And I remember thinking maybe I should start going to church but then I just ended up finding crystals and spirituality that way.”

Since filming MAFS, Sacha has embraced Christianity and she shared photos of her baptism at St Matthew’s Church in Walsall on 13 October, captioning the pics: “This year has been a special one as my journey with God has changed my life! Thank you to my family and friends that came to show love and support, no matter what their beliefs. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by the best people.”

On MAFS this week, Sacha had a heated argument with another groom, Alex, during which he shouted at her and told her she was wearing “fake a** jewellery,” referring to a bracelet that Ross had given her, and made fun of the fact that she didn’t own her own car or house. Fans took to social media to defend Sacha and Polly, who also ended up arguing with Alex, with many suggesting that his “aggressive” behaviour should have led to him being booted from the show.
One viewer wrote: “For someone who professes to be a massive mummies boy, Alex’s attitude to women is absolutely vile. Poor mum,” while a second said: “I think the experts should have stepped in and removed Alex from the show. There is something seriously wrong with him.”
