A Place in the Sun's Lucy Alexander poses with family including EastEnders star daughter
Lucy Alexander, who joined Channel 4's A Place in the Sun on a permanent basis earlier this year, always has her family close to her heart. The 54 year old, who is known for appearing on Homes Under the Hammer, is married to ex-Premier League footballer Stewart Castledine, with whom she shares two children, daughter Kitty, and son, Leo. Kitty has found fame in her own right, playing the role of Penny Branning, cousin of Lauren Branning, on the BBC's EastEnders.
She burst onto our screens in January 2024, hitting things off in a drugs mule storyline as she stashed drugs into her cousin, Lauren's (Jacqueline Jossa) suitcase in Paris. As they made their way back to Walford, Lauren was arrested at the airport after sniffer dogs detected her luggage. Recently Penny has decided to quit Walford in a big decision about her future.
Lucy and Kitty clearly share a close bond, often featuring on each other's Instagram pages, and they even took part in a joint photoshoot together last year. Earlier this year, the whole family, plus a guest, enjoyed an outing to the UK Special Screening of new Netflix film, The Beautiful Game.

Their family bond was clear to see as everyone coordinated their outfits in black, whilst Lucy added a blazer over the top in a striking shade of burnt orange. Lucy took to Instagram to share a reel of the night out, as she wrote in the caption: "A night out with the family.
"Thank you @netflixuk for the screening invite of #thebeautifulgame - lovely venue @hamyard_hotel really know how to get everyone together! A brilliant film highlighting the desperate situation of homelessness in the world and how sport & football can have a positive effect and bring a community together. Great to have all the cast of actors on stage ( love Bill Nighy ) - we all enjoyed it. Go see the movie - out soon.
