Paris Hilton reveals son's name – and it's based on another city
Paris Hilton has just revealed her newborn son’s name – and she’s taken inspiration from her own moniker.
The heiress and former reality star welcomed a baby boy via surrogate and has now revealed that his name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.
The 42-year-old announced the name of her and her husband Carter Reum’s first child on Instagram while promoting her new biography, titled Paris: The Memoir.

In an accompanying episode of her podcast, This is Paris, she revealed that Phoenix’s middle names came from her late grandfather Barron Hilton, the son of Conrad Hilton who began the Hilton hotel empire.
Reading an excerpt of her memoir, Hilton said: “If all goes well, by the time you read this, Carter and I will have a baby boy.
“We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities, countries and states on a map, looking for something to go with Paris and London.
“Phoenix has a few good pop culture reference points, but more importantly it’s a bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again.
“I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives and that this should give us great hope for the future.”
Hilton went on to say that her grandfather Barron was her “mentor” and that she looked up to him “so much”.

“So there you go, my beautiful baby boy's name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum and Carter and I are so proud to welcome him into the world.”
