Olivia Rodrigo ditches her signature long locks for a shorter haircut
Olivia Rodrigo is a long hair 'traitor', pass it on... OK, mediocre puns aside, for the first time since her initial breakout into the music industry, the singer has cut off her signature long locks, making for a shorter – and arguably, easier to maintain – chest-length hairstyle. Enter: Hair envy and a lot of 'jealousy, jealousy'... soz.
While the following isn't as dramatic as say Nicola Peltz Beckham's layered bob chop or Christina Aguilera's neon green hair overhaul, the change in length shows that Olivia has had a good few inches snipped from the ends of her tresses – and those who fear haircuts will appreciate the commitment. She's gone from almost hip-skimming hair to bouncy chest-length strands.
Professional hairstylist Clayton Hawkins was the genius behind Olivia's new look, debuting it with a three-part carousel post on Instagram.
