If you’re anything like us, your shopping habits may have slightly increased during lockdown.
While some may have invested their money in giving their home or garden a makeover, others may have treated themselves to a bit of self care during this difficult time.
We are not the only ones who have given our beauty cupboards a revamp.
Research carried out by the buy now pay later service, Clearpay, has found Olaplex was one of the most popular beauty products shoppers flocked to during lockdown.
There was one item in particular from the leading haircare brand that customers kept adding to their basket: Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector.
Buy it: Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector | £23.14 (Was £23.99) from Amazon
Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector is an at-home treatment, which works to repair dry, damaged and broken hair.
The formula contains active ingredients, which works to find broken bonds in the hair shaft caused by heat or styling, and mends them.
The cult hair product, which retails for £23, can be left in the hair overnight as a deep conditioner, or washed out after 10 minutes.
On Amazon the hair product already boasts over 13,000 reviews, 75% giving the product five stars. Customers call it “a real game changing product” and a “genuine miracle”.
Numerous skincare products also proved to be popular during lockdown, with items by Laura Mercier, PIXI and Bobbi Brown all making it into the top ten beauty purchases.
However, there was one beauty brand that beat them all, the very affordable The Ordinary, where three of the labels products made it into the top 10.
