Boots' No7 advent calendar goes on sale - after 226,000 sign up for waiting list

In recent years, beauty advent calendars have become one of the most popular ways to count down to Christmas.

Multiple fragrance, skincare and make-up brands have curated calendars this year, but one of the most anticipated launches of 2019 is Boots’ No7’s advent calendar. And it’s available to all now.

In 2018, the calendar’s waiting list reached over 97,000 people and sold out within three days. However, it’s popularity has increased dramatically this year with a 226,000-strong waiting list.

If you signed up to the waiting list when it opened in August you could get your hands on the £42 calendar packed with £173.50 worth of skincare and cosmetics yesterday.

Although the contents (full list below) weren’t revealed until yesterday, a record number of orders were placed on Boots in one hour. The retailer’s currently selling three calendars every second.

This year the calendar also comes with an additional surprise. Your calendar could include one of the seven Golden Tickets: a voucher allowing you to purchase £700 of No7 products.
