Nicole Kidman swaps straight blonde locks for her classic red curls
Nicole Kidman has swapped her straight blonde hair for her iconic red curls in a series of new images.
It’s a look similar to the one the 55-year-old had when she first started acting in the 1990s, when she was known for her big red curls.
In a post to Instagram, the Big Little Lies actor shared a series of three images of her wearing a bright blue dress to compliment her strawberry-hued curls.

She captioned the images, which included one of her sitting on the ground, and two others with her hair in front of her face, simply with three sparkling star emojis.
“Love your curls,” fellow actor Jill Wagner commented, along with three heart emoji and three fire emoji.
“Pretty colour on you!” another user, @vcorn765, said.
The change comes just two weeks after Kidman wore her normally long blonde locks straight with a middle parting to this year’s Oscars.
To the 95th annual academy awards, Kidman wore a long-sleeved sequinned gown by Armani Privé.

While the curls in the new photos look to be courtesy of a curling iron, Kidman most recently gave her followers a glimpse of her natural curls both during a trip to Mallorca and via a New Year’s Day post to Instagram.
In an image from a recent trip to Mallorca, Kidman is seen sitting on the side of a boat with the sea sparking behind her, highlighting her curls which had been tied up in a plait.
A New Year’s Day post from this year showed Kidman sitting in front of Sydney’s Opera House and Harbour Bridge with her curls one again tied up but visible.

The last time Kidman sported red hair was on the cover of Perfect magazine last year, where she looked almost unrecognisable in a dramatic stance showing off her toned biceps, stomach and legs.
