Never-before-seen photos of Princess Diana, William and Harry have been released
Kensington Palace has released a series of unseen photos from Princess Diana’s personal collection.
Marking a 90-minute documentary set to air on ITV tonight, the candid shots show the late royal with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
One image shows Diana hugging Harry on holiday while another depicts the princess standing holding a young William while pregnant with Harry.
The last photo shows the two young royals posing on a picnic bench.
‘Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy’ is a documentary featuring William and Harry talking about their relationship with their mother in the lead-up to the 20th anniversary of her death.
“This one here, I thought you’d like to see – quite a special picture – the two of you which I thought was quite sweet,” Prince William can be heard saying when showing Harry the holiday snapshot.
Diana’s personal photo albums were only recently discovered by her sons with Harry admitting that “part of him” did not want to look at them.
William revealed that his mother “loved taking pictures. It was so nice. She captures some really good portraits of people, you kind of get a snapshot of the personality quite quickly.”
“The funny thing is there is not that many of her, as she is always taking pictures of us,” the royal commented.
Diana tragically lost her life in a Parisian car accident in August 1997. William was only 15 when his mother passed away; Prince Harry only 12.
