Naomi Campbell is taking her coronavirus precautions very seriously.
Earlier this week the British supermodel shared pictures of herself at the airport on Instagram wearing a full hazmat suit, gloves, face mask, and goggles.
At the time she promised to share a more detailed video on her germ-prevention precautions in these coronavirus-infused times.
And now she’s shared a preview video of what’s to come.
The clip starts with Campbell revealing that she is currently in LA and is about to fly back home to New York.
“I’m not going to lie to you and say I’m not nervous to take this flight but I am,” the model reveals to the camera.
“The coronavirus is real, it is serious.”
The video goes on to show Campbell preparing to take the flight as she dons her hazmat suit and eases on on her pink protective gloves.
“We’re all in the same boat. We are to learn something from this, we absolutely are.”
In the accompanying caption, the British model promised a more detailed YouTube video of her protection techniques is on the way.
But fans were already impressed with the preview taking to the comments to praise the model on her germ prevention methods while travelling.
“Naomi for world president. Petition starts here!” one user wrote.
“I’ve known Naomi for over 25 years. And she always been incredibly knowledgeable about health,” another user commented.
“She’s in contact with with world leaders tech innovators and billionaires. I am listening and taking every precaution and suggest u [sic] do too and act accordingly.”
“The coronavirus is scared of you Naomi tbh!” another fan quipped.
It seems Campbell’s cautious cleanliness approach could have rubbed off on Tinie Tempah as he also wore a hazmat suit and face mask to travel on the Eurostar amid coronavirus fears.
The rapper, 31, shared an Instagram photo showing him wearing a protective outfit and mask along with blue surgical gloves and a pair of sunglasses.
The musician’s face was almost entirely obscured thanks to the suit’s hood as he posed with his fingers pointed in the air while sitting in a train seat.
Campbell has been preaching about travel hygiene for quite some time.
Last summer, she talked us through her extreme airport cleansing routine in a YouTube video.
And while some were skeptical about the thoroughness of the precautions, now in worrying new light of the coronavirus pandemic, Campbell’s germ-prevention efforts have taken on new significance.
Just in case you missed her tutorial and are now in need of a refresher. The first thing Campbell does while travelling by air is use antiseptic wipes to clean her seat and the entire surrounding area before she sits down.
The model then covers the seat with her own personal blanket and puts on a medical mask to cover her nose and mouth to protect her from breathing in germs.
“No matter what plane you take, private or commercial, as the plane descends, people start coughing and sneezing,” she explains.
And Campbell isn’t one bit bothered if people think her hygiene routine is extreme.
“I don’t care what people think of me,” she revealed in the video, which went viral last year. “It’s my health and it makes me feel better.”
Get ready to take notes when Campbell releases her new travel tutorial later.
