Meghan Markle's Toronto home is for sale for £812K
Meghan Markle might now be living at Nottingham Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace with fiancé Prince Harry, but the US actress hasn’t always lived in a palatial residence.
The 36-year-old star’s fairly modest three-bed Toronto home is for up sale with Realtor.ca and could be yours if you have £811,604 ($1.395m) spare.
The pad, which Markle rented while filming television show ‘Suits’ in Canada, offers up a glimpse into the star’s life before starting a relationship with Harry. She lived in the two-storey property, located in Seaton Village, alone with her two adopted dogs.

It boasts an ultra modern interior – no doubt a far cry from the decor the royal family are accustomed to – with a sleek kitchen and two luxury bathrooms and has an open plan design that’s ideal for entertaining.
There’s a fairly spacious back garden, which includes a decked area ideal for BBQs (and hanging out with your pet pooches, like Markle used to.)
While the owner has clearly decorated the home before selling it, Markle’s (now dormant) Instagram account gave a glimpse into her life in the fairly modest Toronto home and how she furnished it.
A vintage mirror adorned a wall in her living room, which featured a white sofa, framed prints and posters and an assortment of plants, flowers and soft furnishings – including books by Vogue creative director Grace Coddington, Linda McCartney and Carine Roitfeld.

Raffia chairs added a bohemian vibe to her dining area.
She kept her bedroom simple, with a grey bed and white bedding. The guest rooms were fairly similar and minimalist, with a print by artist Inslee Fariss positioned above one of the beds.
Padded seating and wire chairs were used to furnish the outdoor decking space.
