Hillary Clinton visits Meghan Markle and Archie at home in Windsor
Meghan Markle received a visit from Hillary Clinton earlier this week, it has been revealed.
The former First Lady, 72, has been in London with her daughter Chelsea, to promote the pair’s joint book titled ‘Gutsy Women: Favourite Stories of Courage’.
Clinton visited the Duchess of Sussex, 38 – who is currently believed to be on a six-week sabbatical from royal duties – at her Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.
“Both women have a lot of admiration for each other and it was a very sweet, warm meeting,” a source told the Daily Mail, adding: “They are mutual fan girls!”

According to Mail’s royal correspondent, the pair hugged during the meeting and Clinton cuddled the Duchess’ six-month-old son, Archie. The wife of former US President Bill Clinton also spoke about her third and newest grandchild, Chelsea’s son Jasper.
Conversation included a letter Markle wrote to then-First Lady Clinton when Markle was 11, to appeal to her to change a “sexist” dishwasher soap advertisement.
Markle asked that the line “women all over America are fighting greasy pots and pans” be changed so that the first word read “people” instead.
The letter proved successful, although it’s unknown whether Clinton had any involvement.
Earlier this week, Clinton spoke on BBC Radio 5 Live about her empathy for Markle amid the criticism and “racist treatment” she has faced from the media.

“Oh my God, I want to hug her. I feel as a mother I just want to put my arms around her,” she told the broadcaster.
“I want to tell her to hang in there, don't let those bad guys get you down. Keep going, do what you think is right.”
Clinton added: “[Meghan] is an amazing young woman, she has an incredible life story. She has stood up for herself, she has made her own way in the world.
“And then she falls in love, and he falls in love with her, and everybody should be celebrating that because it is a true love story.”
