Will Meghan Markle be celebrating Thanksgiving today?
Today is Thanksgiving, and Meghan Markle has a lot to be thankful for. In May, she married Prince Harry - officially entering into the royal family - and the couple now have a baby on the way.
But will the American-born royal be celebrating the winter holiday now that she lives in the UK? Last year, just days before Meghan and Harry announced their engagement to the world, Meghan had the traditional Thanksgiving turkey roast with her mum, Doria Ragland, in California.
This year, things are different. We know Meghan is in the UK currently, having made an appearance yesterday at the London Hubb Community Kitchen where the funds from her cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook, are being directed.
But while Thanksgiving isn't traditionally celebrated in the UK, there's no hard-and-fast rule to say the royals can't mark the holiday in their own, private way. Both Meghan and Harry's diaries are clear for the day - as are brother and sister-in-law William and Kate's - so for all we know, the fab four could have the pumpkin pie baking in the oven as we speak.
And we know from Meghan's old Instgram page, (RIP) that the former actress is a big fan of Thanksgiving traditions. In 2016, she posted a picture of herself from a previous Thanksgiving, proudly beaming over a roasted bird. She captioned it: "Oh, that time I roasted a pretty perfect Thanksgiving turkey! The question is, can I do it again? The pressure is on!"
The pressure is on, Meghan - to convince Brits Harry, William and Kate that Thanksgiving is worth celebrating every year.
