Meghan and Harry make first public appearance as married couple at Prince Charles' garden party
The pair were only married on Saturday, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already back to work today, undertaking their first royal engagement as man and wife and the newly-titled Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
And if you ask us, it’s a pretty nice one to ease them in: they’re attending a royal garden party and Buckingham Palace.
For the occasion, Meghan opted for Goat Fashion’s Flavia dress in pale peach, which features a sheer top and sleeves, which has already sold out, naturally.
The Duchess wore the dress with pale tights, the Oyster Silk Clutch by Wilbur and Gussie and matching peach-hued Aquzzara pumps.
It’s also the first big hat moment we’ve seen from Meghan, who paired her dress with a bespoke hat by Philip Treacy.
The Duchess of Sussex wore minimal jewellery, opting for some the delicate Idylle La Rose earrings by Vantugen.

The party is in honour of Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, which isn’t officially until November 14th.
Interestingly, it’s common for some senior members of the royal family to celebrate their birthday twice a year. King George II was the first start the trend, celebrating his birthday twice in 1748.
It’s thought to have something to do with the weather, as royal parties are often held outdoors.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are though to be delaying their honeymoon by up to a week in order to carry out some initial royal duties on home turf.
Meghan previously said that she wanted to “hit the ground running” after becoming a full-time member of the royal family.
Their future plans are yet to be confirmed but there’s rumours they’ll be visiting Dublin, Ireland, for a two-day trip and potentially staying longer for a mini moon.
It’s not yet known where Harry and Meghan will honeymoon when they eventually go, but Botswana and the Philippines are thought to be possible contenders.
Botswana surely holds a special place in the couple’s hearts’: they revealed that they fell in love “under the stars” there, and Harry reportedly whisked his fiancee back once more to mark her 36th birthday.
