Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly branded 'insensitive' for Pamela and Tommy Halloween costume
Watch: Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Dressed Up as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee for Halloween
Celebrity Halloween parties across the pond are nothing short of high-octane productions, with some of the best costumes the industry has to offer. For Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s annual Casamigos party, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly looked to another famous Rock 'n' Roll couple for their costume inspiration.
The pair chose to attend the star-studded party in Los Angeles as a ‘90s era Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. Specifically, the outfits the couple wore to the grand opening party for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in 1995, the same year as the famous ‘90s icons were married.
Fox slipped her enviable figure into an exact replica of the pink and red latex mini-dress worn by the former Baywatch star, and donned a voluminous bleached blonde wig with Anderson’s signature bouncy, tousled waves.
She wore a sharp acrylic French manicure for good measure and her make-up matched that of Anderson’s ‘90s style, all the way down to the era-appropriate thinner eyebrows.
Machine Gun Kelly let his own tattoos mimic that of Tommy Lee’s and paired a white tank top vest with leather trousers, dying his own blonde hair brunette and accessorising with a pair of ‘90s sunglasses in imitation of the Mötley Crüe drummer.
Fox posted pictures on her Instagram of her with her fiancé, alongside pictures of the real Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, with the caption: “But are these even costumes.”

Fans loved the rock musician’s new hairstyle, but were quick to point out that Anderson and Lee’s real relationship wasn’t plain-sailing, and that the costumes could be seen as insensitive.
“Wasn’t Tommy abusive and you just promoting domestic violence,” wrote one user on Instagram, whilst another replied “Babe I sure hope so. We all remember how this relationship turned out…” in response to Fox’s “But are these even costumes” caption.
"Tommy hit on Pamela, that's not cool!!" wrote another user, whilst others said it was "incredibly distasteful" and "insensitive".

Anderson and Lee married in Cancun, Mexico, in February 1995, just four days after they started dating. Things turned south for the couple when later that summer, an electrician stole and distributed a home video tape featuring the pair having sex.
In 1998, Lee was arrested after an altercation with Anderson, and he was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to felony spousal battery.
