Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged - and it's intense

Actress Megan Fox and rocker Machine Gun Kelly are engaged, after a filmed proposal featuring three camera angles and birdsong.
The couple have been together since meeting at a party eighteen months ago, and Kelly proposed on Tuesday on holiday at the Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico.
Although the moment was a total surprise to Fox, the unfolding proposal was carefully filmed and edited. Kelly, wearing a glittery, monochrome-striped top, sank to one knee in front of Fox, 35, who wore black combat trousers and a black string bikini top.
The actress clapped her hands over her mouth, and then joined him crouching on the ground as he offered her a ring, before sliding it onto her finger.
They embraced and kissed to seal the deal.
Under her Instagram post, Fox wrote:
"In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.
Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.
Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes."
The fond romance took a turn as she added, "...and then we drank each other's blood 1.11.22"
If they did, their strange and inadvisable, don't-try-this-at-home ritual recalls the intense 'bond' between actors Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, who used to wear vials of each others' blood around their necks, before splitting in 2002 after two years of marriage.
Posting a video of the diamond and emerald engagement ring on Megan's finger, Kelly - real name, Colson Whitehead - responded, "Yes, in this life and every life." Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me. i know tradition is one ring but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."
He posted a video showing the couple falling onto a bed, with rose petals forming a heart shape.
Celebrities hurried to congratulate them, with Paris Hilton exclaiming, "Congratulations! So happy for you" and Travis Barker simply writing "F*** Yessssss" with a black heart emoji.
Comments on Megan's post were equally congratulatory, though several were taken aback by the blood-drinking claim.
"you did what now" asked bigbrowneyes457, while madelyngilliam added "y'all drank what".

One wag questioned, "Did he dress like a referee because he wanted to make it official?", but fellow actor Drew Barrymore simply wrote: "Congratulations to you both!!!"
The couple are seemingly proud of their passionately intense feelings. Megan told a podcast, "Instead of a soulmate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.
"So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."
In October they gave a joint interview to GQ magazine, in which they revealed their feelings and posed for steamy pictures together.
Between them, the couple has four children- Megan's sons, Noah, nine, Bodhi, seven, and Journey, five, while Kelly, 31, is a dad to Casie, 12.

As the two gave each other matching tattoos reading 'the darkest fairytale' she also told GQ how they met.
"I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up and I was like, 'You smell like weed. He looked down at me and he was like, 'I am weed'.
Later, when filming together, Kelly recalled, "‘She was just like, 'How are you feeling?' ‘And I said, 'I’m lost.' She said, 'Well, let’s find you.' That was the first real conversation we had."
He added, "Even our first kiss, she wouldn’t kiss me. We just put our lips right in front of each other and breathed each other’s breath and then she just left."
Fox added, "This is a very intense relationship.
"Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away...It should be light, but also we go to hell with each other."
Well... congratulations, guys. May you be very happy together!
