A mum-of-two is making thousands by selling her breast milk to men online.

Yep, you read that right, men!

Rafaela Lamprou, 24, from Cyprus, gave birth to her son Anjelo seven months ago and found herself producing excess milk that she had no room to store.

The hotel worker, who also has a four-year-old daughter, Hailey, started donating her milk to women who were struggling to produce it for their babies.

But the 24-year-old soon found that men were approaching her for the milk, either as part of their health regime, or for fetish reasons.

“I was producing 80 ounces of milk a day and giving it to women locally,” Rafaela explains.

“Then I started shipping it to the UK. I liked seeing the new mums faces when I was able to help them.”

“I then started to get some enquiries from men. It started with men who were interested in bodybuilding. They say it is good for building muscle mass.”

“But then I started to get enquiries from men with fetishes.”

After getting enquiries from men, she decided to charge male buyers 1Euro (89p) per ounce of breast milk. Since then, she has sent nearly 500 litres of breast milk to strangers, and has already made £4,500 so far.

“Now I breastfeed on demand,” she continues.

“I have no idea what they do with it but they tell me they consume it.”

“It was a bit strange at first giving breastmilk to a guy with fetishes but as long as it is just that and not asked to show any part of my body, I don’t mind it at all. I am open minded.”

Rafaela has now started a Facebook group about the practice through which people can approach her.

“I have been made to take tests to ensure I don’t smoke or drink,” she explains.

“I am also on a website where men can approach me for the milk. You do get some creeps on there but I avoid them.”

The mum-of-two revealed that she isn’t sure how long she will continue to breastfeed and therefore produce milk, but as her husband is completely supportive of what she is doing she will carry on for the time being.

“I had no idea with my first baby that you could do this kind of thing, But now it is quite addictive,” she said.

The sharing of breast milk is not a new concept. Years ago wet nurses were common practice and women have long breastfed babies for other mothers who are unable to do so.

But social media has made it easier for mums to provide breast milk for those who need it and as such breast milk sharing sites are springing up all over the Internet.

But while many mums support the idea of milk-sharing sites, there are some concerns about safety and hygiene of the process, the BBC reports.

Now the Department of Health is now coming under pressure to issue more extensive guidance to any mums acting outside of NHS supervision, with some experts warning that the unregulated practice could spread infection and viruses such as HIV and hepatitis.

Presumably the concerns about women sharing milk with other mothers are likely to be similar to the sharing of breast milk to men for body building or fetish purposes?
