Matt Damon gets four daughters' names tattooed on to his upper arm
Actor Matt Damon, 48, has proved he’s a devoted dad after tattooing his four daughters’ names on to his body.
He has had the names of his three biological daughters, Isabella, Gia and Stella, and his stepdaughter, Alexia, tattooed on his upper arm.
Damon already had a “Lucy” tattoo devoted to his wife of almost 15 years, Luciana Bozán Barroso, whom he met in Miami in 2003 while filming ‘Stuck On You’.
The new tattoos honour the pair’s three daughters together (Isabella, Gia and Stella) as well as Alexia, who is Barroso’s daughter from her previous marriage to Arbello Barroso.
His artwork was done by Los Angeles-based tattoo artist David Stone, who has a strong celebrity following including Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas and Lady Gaga.
He is also responsible for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s “cool tattoo family” inkings.
Stone posted pictures of Damon’s new tattoos on his Instagram page yesterday, calling it an “honor” [sic] to work on him.

While the existing “Lucy” is written in a bolder cursive, the new tattoos look to be a style know as “single needle” style – which looks more delicate than a regular tattoo but can feel more painful.

He’s not the first celebrity dad to do this – David Beckham has a whole host of tattoos dedicated to his kids, including his daughter Harper’s name written on his chest and a stick drawing she did inked on the inside of his palm.
As for the mums, Drew Barrymore has the names of her two children, Olive and Frankie, tattooed on her inner right wrist, while Jessica Alba has the constellations of her three children’s zodiac signs tattooed on to her forearm.
Actor Angelina Jolie has also had her children’s birthplaces tattooed on to her body.
