M&S' sell-out designer-style bag is back in every single colour
When it comes to nailing a classic but designer-inspired look, Marks & Spencer (M&S) gets it right every time. Season after season our reliable high street retailer launches new must-have but affordable buys – in particular stylish accessories to elevate your wardrobe.
If you're searching for a trusty new crossbody bag that won't break the bank, take a look at their Faux Leather Cross Body Bag which recently had a style update and was bought out in four new colours for spring.
The original black style went viral on social media last year, and was a sell-out success due to its chic design and affordable price point. But if you missed out on it the first time around, don't worry, as the luxury-looking bag has just been restocked in every single colour.
Why we rate it
Not only does the vegan crossbody bag look incredibly chic and elegant, its simple lines and adjustable strap makes it super versatile and practical too.
The high street store has answered shoppers’ pleas by introducing additional shades for the new season.
A deep green shade (Light Khaki), a vibrant pink (Blossom), a caramel tan colour (Latte), and a textured white option (White Mix) are new for spring, and have climbed straight to the top of our wish lists.
Need to run to the shops? The bag can carry all your essentials like your phone, purse and car keys without bulking up, making sure your look stays chic. Don’t have a bag for a friend’s wedding? Grab the pink alternative, or the brand-new-for-summer white raffia style and you’re good to go.
The original black version might be a sell-out classic for a reason, but it's definitely worth venturing out of your style comfort zone and experimenting with a new colour way such as the pink ‘blossom’ shade.
Blogger and stylist Lisa shared on Instagram how you can wear a 'pop' of colour with muted tones, pairing with a khaki jacket and blue denim jeans to lift an everyday outfit.
What’s more, the designer-looking bag, with its compact structure and gold hardware, is only £35. For such a versatile accessory, the cost-per-wear makes this bag an absolute bargain.
What the reviews say
It's no surprise that most reviews are about the original black version, but resounding four and five-star reviews for the new shades are coming in thick and fast with fans complimenting the “fab pink colour” and “luxurious” looking tan shade.
However, some buyers have commented on the bag’s size, saying that it was slightly smaller than expected, and warning others to check the dimensions.
“My one suggestion if they want to improve it slightly would be to make it slightly larger,” wrote one reviewer.
Elsewhere though, shoppers love the bag's “elegant style” and “great quality”, whilst its affordability and versatility make it a fashionable go-to option for any outfit.
“Gorgeous bag. I love the fact it locks securely and has a zip in the middle pocket. I want to buy it in khaki next!”
“Have been waiting a while for this simple bag. It’s exactly what I wanted & looks just like the designer one.”
“Love it! Waited so long to get this and it was worth the wait. Affordable, sturdy and looks so expensive.”
“Great size and quality. Two main compartments separated by a zipped divider to store valuables like cards. Très chic!”
