Mango's sell-out Met Gala dress is back just in time for wedding season
Everybody wants to be a #MangoGirl and this season, you can’t scroll through Instagram without spotting an influencer or two (ok, five) decked in the high street brand’s ‘It’ item.
This summer, shoppers made a beeline for a £79.99 tie-dye dress which is part of the Spanish label’s covetable Gala Collection.
Further demonstrating the power of social media, the influencer-approved look sold out within the space of 48 hours.
Now, the halter-neck frock is finally back in stock and it’s the perfect ensemble for that summer wedding coming up on your calendar.
Though the street style set’s lust over the Mango dress should come as no surprise, as tie-dye has undergone a 2019 renaissance.
Prada sent models down the SS19 runway in bejewelled mini dresses dipped in the famous paint splatterings while Kaia Gerber showed the front row how to rock a tie-dye boiler suit.
Now, self-confessed Mango fans across the nation can recreate the trend with the help of the great British high street.

Mango’s latest blogger-friendly dress comes as part of the brand’s collaboration with Argentinian fashion influencer, Sofía Sanchez de Betak, who wore a tiered off-the-shoulder version of the dress to the 2019 Met Gala.
Pair with straps-all-the-way-up-the-leg block heels and a ‘90s-inspired shoulder bag for extra sartorial points.
