Man spots himself in fiancée's childhood photo
Do you ever wonder the first time you crossed paths with your other half? Perhaps you briefly met eyes a few years ago or even spoke to each other on a drunken night out.
One couple realised they go way way back after poring over old family photos one day.
Verona Koliqi showed her fiancé Mirand Buzaku a childhood photo of her in the sea with her family while on holiday in Montenegro a decade ago.
Instead of paying attention to his fiancée, Mirand noticed the kid floating on the lilo in the background.
Turns out that little boy was him.
“He noticed the kid in the back had the same shirt, shorts and floaty as him,” Verona commented on Instagram. “We analysed further and confirmed with family members that it’s him photobombing my family photo.”
Naturally, the couple didn’t believe it at first, especially as they didn’t officially meet until the summer of 2016, getting engaged a year later.

People on Instagram believe that this is proof fate exists with her post receiving over 30,000 likes.
Others have begun sharing their own coincidental love stories. “My daughter spent most Christmas Days with her godparents visiting the house next door to her husband. They met years later and she realised she had been to the neighbour’s house often. It’s about 50km from where we live,” one woman commented.
“My boyfriend and I went to the same elementary school together and I didn’t even know he existed up until like two and a half years ago,” wrote another Instagram user.
