Madonna reveals son David, 16, shares her clothes: 'He can even wear a dress and look butch'
Having been in the spotlight since her early twenties, Madonna knows a thing or two about style - and it seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
As it turns out, the singer’s 16-year-old son, David Banda, has earned some style chops of his own in his 16 years.
Madonna, 63, spoke about David – who she adopted in 2006 with then-husband Guy Ritchie – during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.
The Vogue hitmaker revealed that David not only regularly borrows from his mother’s wardrobe, but also “looks better” in her clothes.
“He can put on any outfit and look swag as you-know-what,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “It’s really irritating.”
“He wears my clothes and looks better in them,” she added. “He can even wear a dress and look butch.”
David joined his mother back in May, to attend the WBA World Lightweight Championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The mother-son duo wowed in matching Adidas outfits, with David sporting a red and white dress and accessorising a layer of necklaces and black sneakers.

The mother-of-six regularly posts pictures to her Instagram of her children, including a video of David in one of her dresses.
It seems Madonna’s house is filled with music and talent, as she often shares videos of David and her other children, Mercy, 16, and twins Stelle and Estere, nine, dancing around the kitchen.
David's set for stardom, says Madonna.
“He’s going to end up being one of your guests,” she told Fallon later in the interview, adding that he has “everything” you need to be a star.
Fallon agreed, adding: “He's got ‘it’. He's got magic. He's funny, he's charming, he's athletic, he's a good-looking dude.”
