We could all learn a thing or two from Adele's £62 parenting hack
Adele has given a rare glimpse into her life as a mum by revealing the £62 parenting hack she uses to teach her son responsibility and kindness.
Sharing a selfie of herself dressed up in a black hat and veil to watch the royal wedding, the 30-year-old singer also raised a glass of bubbly to the happy couple.
“Congratulations Meghan and Harry. You’re the most beautiful bride. I can’t stop thinking of how happy Princess Diana is upstairs x,” Adele caption the shot.

But eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot the ‘Gobs of Jobs’ reward chart hanging behind her on the wall.
Though she chooses to keep her son, Angelo, five, out of the limelight, the snapshot gives a rare insight into Adele’s parenting style in revealing what she seemingly uses to teach her little one about household chores.
The felt and Velcro chart is divided into days and has pockets to hold task clouds and stars to stick on days when they’ve been completed.
The reward charts retail at £62.94 but are currently on offer for £39.81 on website Crate and Barrel, although they are now out of stock until early September.
“It’s no secret. Living in a house with kids means tons of tasks, piles of projects and chunks of chores,” The product overview states. “Luckily, our Gobs of Jobs Activity Chart is ready to keep them all manageable.
“With various tasks that you can assign to family members throughout the week on a colourful felt calendar, it’s an easy and fun way to keep the house running smoothly (or somewhat smoothly).”
Tasks range from every day activities such as “get ready for school on time” to “eat veggies” to the utterly cute “kiss mum or dad” and “scratch kitty’s ears”.
From the shot shared by Adele it looks like Angelo has been busy being kind and helpful to his superstar mum. Bless!
Adele, who co-parents her son with husband Simon Konecki, rarely opens up about motherhood, but has previously spoken about her battle with post-natal depression.
Talking to Vanity Fair about the condition, the ‘Hello’ singer revealed that it has caused her to feel concerned about having more children.
“I’m too scared,” she told the publication when asked if she’d like to have another baby.
“I had really bad postpartum depression after I had my son and it frightened me.”
Describing the symptoms she experienced, Adele explained that postpartum depression can come in many different guises.
“My knowledge of postpartum… or post-natal, as we call it in England is that you don’t want to be with your child; you’re worried you might hurt your child; you’re worried you weren’t doing a good job.”
“But I was obsessed with my child. I felt very inadequate; I felt like I’d made the worst decision of my life. It can come in many different forms.”
The mum-of-one has also previously spoken out about suffering from anxiety.
“I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage, my heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever,” she said.
