After five months' wait, Love Island is back. New host Maya Jama graced screens for the winter premiere of the famous dating show, and fans only have one thing to say.
The 28-year-old TV presenter was announced to take over from Laura Whitmore as the host of the ITV reality series in October 2022, and fans have been waiting to see her enter the villa ever since.
And she did not disappoint.
For the inaugural episode, Jama sashayed into the South Africa villa in true Love Island slow-motion style wearing a plunging green summer dress.
But it was her evening style that really got fans talking.

The TV presenter and model put her toned figure on display in a revealing cut-out black gown, perfect for turning up the heat on the reality dating show.
The sensational cut-out halterneck maxi dress style by Monot from the brand’s autumn/winter 2021 collection has been spotted on a number of celebrities, including Kate Hudson and SZA, but it couldn’t be more perfect for the Love Island villa, and fans agree.
“Slaying as always,” wrote one fan on Twitter. “There was no need for Maya Jama to look that good,” added another.
“Would like to reincarnate as Maya Jama please x” one fan joked.
Others commented that she looked so good, it was unfair on the contestants, who are trying to find love in the villa.
“How the hell is anyone supposed to find love when Maya Jama keeps walking in and out like this,” wrote one Twitter user.
“@MayaJama outshining all the female contestants, fancy going in and having to stand next to her,”
“Step forward if you fancy Maya Jama.”
But one thing fans had in common was that Jama and her £1,575 Monot dress, which was styled with black platform heels, were the real winners of the first episode.
“So basically we are all in agreement Maya Jama has won this Love Island series,” declared one fan, whilst another chimed in: “Is Maya Jama allowed to win?”
