Love Island star Georgia Harrison apologises to fans for 'over-editing' her photos
Georgia Harrison has apologised to her fans for "over-editing" her social media pictures in the past.
The Love Island star, 28, told her followers "I'm sorry" for "making my insecurities your insecurities".
In an Instagram post, she shared an image of herself in a bikini in front of a lake while on a health retreat in Portugal.
She wrote: "I haven't been over-editing my photos for a long time now and although I learnt my lesson I never really took accountability for the fact that I [did] it."
The former reality TV contestant – who rose to fame on the 2017 series of Love Island – added: "So here it is... I'm sorry to you if I made my insecurities your insecurities.
"I'm sorry to myself for not loving my imperfections the way I encourage others [to]. And I'm sorry to society for once being part of the problem.

"I promise to continue to embrace my authentic self going forward and I acknowledge that authenticity is the highest form of love for oneself and others."
Her post has received more than 19,700 'likes', with hundreds leaving messages of support.
These included fellow Love Island star Tash Ghouri who wrote "beautiful", while another social media user added: "You are truly an amazing woman and inspiration to all."
Harrison, who has also appeared on The Only Way Is Essex, has recently been campaigning the government to make it easier for victims of revenge porn to seek justice.

Last month, her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear was sentenced to 21 months in jail after being convicted of sharing an intimate video of the couple on OnlyFans.
In an appearance on This Morning to promote her ITV documentary, Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear, she revealed that she had "physically deteriorated" due to the ordeal.
