Hair and makeup at London Fashion Week have, in the past, always been bold and super high-fashion, and for Spring Summer 2020, it has continued to fly that flag.

There was a nod to 80s/90s rave culture at Mark Fast, where Illamasqua’s director of artistry, Pablo Rodriguez, brought a pop of neon to the runway and pop punk pastels at Pam Hogg.

Natural beauty reigned supreme backstage, with makeup legends Val Garland, Pat McGrath and Neil Young championing dewy skin, natural eye makeup and neutral colour palettes.

We saw skincare products such as Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir (£12) at Victoria Beckham, NARSskin Total Replenishing Eye Cream (£41) at Erdem and OSKIA Skincare’s new Super-C Beauty Capsules (£62) at Emilia Wickstead and MZ Skin’s Lift and Lustre Golden Elixir Serum (£210) was spotted at Huishan Zhang.
Whether you choose to go bold, stay natural or somewhere inbetween, there was something for everyone that we predict will be the hottest looks next year.
