Lizzo calls out TikTok over apparent removal of her swimsuit videos
Lizzo has accused TikTok of removing certain images of her from the video-sharing app — and the Grammy-award winning artist has more than a few things to say about it.
The singer, who posts regularly to the social media platform, sent a message to TikTok after she claims that videos of her in swimsuits were removed.
In the video, she can be seen lip-syncing the song, “I Know,” which was made popular by TikTok user Erin McMillen, while getting her hair done.

“TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits,” Lizzo wrote over a clip of her lip-syncing the words “I know.”
She went on to add that TikTok “allows other videos with girls in bathing suits. I wonder why? TikTok we need to talk.”
Lizzo, who is known for supporting the body positivity movement, has garnered millions of views on her video and a lot of support from fans.
“Because you’re glowing queen and people can’t handle it,” one commenter wrote. “Don’t they know you’ve given them multiple viral sounds?” another fan wondered.

“Oh wow! Wouldn’t think they’d pull videos from stars. Disappointing. I do hope they talk to you,” someone else said. “It happens to me too!!! CURVY GIRL PROBLEMS...” a user noted.
Yahoo reached out to TikTok for comment but has not heard back by the time of publishing. The company’s community guidelines prohibit pornography but do not mention swimsuit.
